Back when Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato were inseparable BFFs Selena was offered the role of Mitchie Torres in the Disney Channel Original Movie “Camp Rock.” Selena ended up turning down the role and it was offered instead to Demi.
According to Selena’s E! special, which aired recently, the “Wizards of Waverly Place” star wasn’t ready to break into her music career quite yet. Instead, she wanted to become a more popular actress and then work on her singing career afterward.
